# Finluency Early Access: What to Expect and How to Join

> Finluency is in active development and accepting early testers. Learn what early access means, what to expect, and how to request your invitation.

Finluency is currently in early access — an intentionally limited release that lets a small group of solopreneurs and small business owners test the product while it's still actively being built. Early access is an opportunity to get hands-on time with Finluency before it's publicly available, and to shape the product through direct feedback. If you're the kind of person who wants to influence a product rather than just use it, this is for you.

## What Early Access Means

Early access means the product is real and usable, but it's not finished. Features are being added, interfaces are being refined, and not everything that will eventually exist is available yet. You should expect:

* **Occasional rough edges.** Some flows may be incomplete or change between updates as the team iterates.
* **Active development.** New features and improvements ship regularly based on tester feedback.
* **Direct access to the team.** Early access participants can share feedback directly with the people building the product.
* **No production-level SLAs.** Finluency is not yet a commercially released product, so uptime and support expectations are different from a mature SaaS tool.

Early access is not a beta test in the traditional sense — it's an ongoing collaboration between the Finluency team and a small group of people who have a real need for the product.

## How to Request Access

Finluency does not have open self-serve sign-up yet. To join the early access program, submit a request on the [Finluency website](https://finluency.com/#). You'll be asked for your name, email address, and a brief description of your financial situation and what you're hoping to get out of the product.

The team reviews requests and sends invitations on a rolling basis. When your invitation is ready, you'll receive an email with a link to activate your account and get started.

<Info>
  No payment or commitment of any kind is required to join the waitlist or participate in early access. Finluency is free to use during the early access period.

## What Early Access Participants Can Expect

When you join early access, you're entering a collaborative relationship with the Finluency team. Here's what that looks like in practice:

* **Periodic check-ins.** The team may reach out to ask how things are going or to walk through your experience.
* **Feedback channels.** You'll have a direct way to report issues, request features, and share what's working or not.
* **Influence on the roadmap.** Early access feedback directly shapes what gets built next. Your use case matters.
* **Early notice of changes.** You'll hear about new features and significant changes before they're broadly announced.

There's no obligation to provide feedback, though it's genuinely valued. Participation is as light or as involved as you want it to be.

## Frequently Asked Questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="When will Finluency be publicly available?">
    There's no fixed public launch date yet. The team is focused on building a product that genuinely works for solopreneurs and small business owners before opening it up more broadly. Early access participants will be among the first to know when a wider release is planned, and will get advance notice before any public announcement.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is early access free?">
    Yes — participating in early access is completely free. There's no payment required to join the waitlist, activate your account, or use the product during the early access period. If and when Finluency introduces paid plans, early access participants will be given advance notice and details about any transition.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What do I need to participate?">
    You need a financial situation that matches what Finluency is designed for: at least one bank account or credit card you'd like to connect, and an interest in having better forward-looking visibility into your cash position. You don't need any accounting knowledge, and you don't need to be running a formal business — freelancers, solopreneurs, and anyone with blended personal and business finances are all welcome to apply.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if I find a bug or something doesn't work?">
    Report it directly to the Finluency team through the feedback channel provided when you activate your account. The team actively monitors early access feedback and prioritizes fixes based on what testers are encountering. Detailed reports — including what you were trying to do and what happened instead — are especially helpful.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I leave early access if it's not right for me?">
    Yes. There's no commitment required to participate, and you can stop using Finluency at any time. If you'd like your account and data removed, reach out to the team directly and they'll take care of it promptly.
